Amy is excited to be a part of the Perfection Gymnastics School team. She is a native of Mason, Ohio, having lived there her whole life. With a degree in Exercise Physiology and a Masters in Nutrition, Amy spends a great deal of time changing the lives of others through personal training and nutrition counseling. Amy has been personal training, teaching yoga, and preschool gymnastics on and off since graduating college. She has had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings including studios, the corporate environment, gyms, personal clubs, and private instruction.
Amy is married and has two girls. Both of her girls are very involved at Perfection. Kai’a (age 7) has just begun the compulsory team and Mae’le (age 3) is in the powerhouse class. Both girls also take dance classes at Perfection. They are a Perfection Family and they all have a love for the sport of gymnastics!
Amy brings a variety of experience to gymnastics having cheered professionally for 4 sports teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. She has competed on world and national stages through fitness competitions and has competed in numerous running, biking and her newest endeavor, triathlon races. Amy loves to run, read nutrition books, and spend her summer days by the pool! Amy is excited to have the opportunity to work with young children inspiring them to play, learn, move and find a love for gymnastics.
